A FINE LATE 19TH / 20TH CENTURY FRENCH SILVERED BRONZE AND LAPIS LAZULI FIGURAL MANTEL CLOCK GARNITURE  the oval pedestal clock case surmounted by figures of Venus and Cupid, Venus offering Cupid a laurel wreath, Cupid with a dish of fruit, both raised on a shaped base set with relief mounts of musical putti and scrolling acanthus leaves, over six foliate cast, toupie feet, the white enamelled dial with Arabic numerals, the twin train movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell (now lacking), with pendulum, stamped 'Samuel Marti MEDAILLE D'OR PARIS 1900', the garniture candelabra on conforming plinth bases and with urn shaped stems issuing three urn shaped nozzles,  the clock 36cm high, the candelabra 30cm high (3)
